学员疑问：老师，Most commonly we come to books with blurred and divided minds asking of fiction that it shall be true, of poetry that it shall be false, of biography that it shall be flattering, of history that it shall enforce our own prejudices.要是括号里的that从句没有its的话，这个应该是定语从句，我的理解对么，老师？
老师解答：不建议做这样的假设哦。毕竟that从句是做前面非谓语动词asking的宾语，asking of fiction that it shall be true中，of fiction是状语，表示要求或期待的对象，而that it shall be true是对该对象要求或期待的具体内容，有些类似间接宾语和直接宾语的关系。
点评分析：当然，如果不管上下文，只管这几个单独的从句本身（去掉it，that 指代前面的名词在从句中做主语）可以这么理解，但是整体上就有问题了。总之，不能脱离语境上下文单独来谈论结构哦。
